Anna Soares, a senior at Placer High in California, took third in a White Division girls varsity race in 18:35.7 at the 42nd Woodbridge Cross Country Classic presented by ASICS America at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, Calif. The course measured closer to a 5-kilometer distance than the reported 3-mile layout.
